Knitting Rose in the Wilderness

September 05, 2016

Hello everyone,

I am sorry that it has been such a long time since I posted.  I have been extremely busy the past several weeks.

I was presented with a unique opportunity to work at the Alaska State Fair, but not as Knitting Rose Yarns.  Another company needed someone to run their booth, and since I love Alaska, it was an easy choice.  So for the last two weeks I have been in Palmer Alaska.  It is beautiful here and the weather is great.  And I get to enjoy the company of Ron and Theresa of the Buffalo Wool Company as they are here as well.

I have been working a lot, but I do get a little bit of time to enjoy the area. Here is a picture of Theresa, from the Buffalo Wool Company, and myself when we went out to see the Northern Lights

It is amazing here.

I fly back home on Wednesday, and Brad and I are leaving Wednesday afternoon for Colorado.  Knitting Rose Yarn will be out the Salida Fiber Festival in Salida Colorado.  If you are in the area on September 10th or 11th.  Please stop by and see us.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day
