What is a cowl? A cowl is a shorter, sometimes thicker, circular version of a scarf. I love cowls because they go over coats adding warmth without bulk. If you knit them wide enough, they can act like a hat by just pulling them up over your head. They are a great way to try out new stitch patterns or use up scraps of yarn.
I love cowls because it just doesn't feel like you have to make the same commitment to the project as is required for a scarf. It feels a less constrained, and easier to me. I like working in the round and just buzzing along.
Take all of the colors of from the mini's and line them up in a row until you get a color progression that you like. I usually snap a picture of my favorite progression to help remind me of the correct order. The other option is bold, by just grabbing the colors as you reach for them results in a completely random color order. The Stars & Stripes Cowl kit
is an inexpensive and fun way to see a wide selection of Knitting Rose Yarns bison blend Budding Tracks yarn
colors. Great as a gift or a quick project, order yours and get started.
